I won $600!

So, my local Jerry's Art-A-Rama had a college-student only drawing to win $600 of art supplies. When you made a purchase you could sign on the chart for an entry.

Yup! I must have signed up about a dozen times I was in Jerry's so often that I ended up winning! I never win anything!! Got a Pablo studio easel which I set up in my bedroom to draw at (thus the pastel above) and the mungyo pastels and some matisse paint for school and a canvas and like oh so many types of drawing and painting supplies. :) More than I can use actually.

So I set up a goodie bag for my friend Em's little brother, Warren, who has just switched to the fine arts major, so that he can have some good pencils and a pack of prismacolors and that biggie paper pad and a medley of erasers and a prismacolor sharpener to start him off for school, and I gave Em some brushes. I also set aside a beginner's oil set and some hog bristle brushes to give to my young cousin Kyle for Christmas this year, and I'll add a small bottle of linseed oil to that and some canvas boards.
