Taped up some 6x6 canvases and went out into the lovely and warm 41*F weather today, it was so nice to be above freezing. It was later in the day because I couldn't find my tape for a while... that part was annoying. But I went out and let the dog play off-leash in front of the apartment building while I painted my favorite evergreens again. Some crows or ravens (couldn't tell from so far) were hanging around so they've been included even though I would have liked a finer brush. I forgot that most of my small brushes were still in the bathroom after being cleaned yesterday.
Really this is probably the more interesting stuff to paint just in front my building. I don't live in a particularly interesting part of town and even if an outsider might like it I've become too apathetic to this street to notice. I mean, you've seen the view from my window!
I was out there for about 40 minutes, working on these simultaneously as if they were one large painting.
