We finally got the date for Andrew's immigration interview in Montreal (March 25), plane tickets have been bought (and we're taking a two day mini vacation while in Montreal that thursday and friday after the interview, that'll be nice) and moving plans are forming for late April. Texas here we come!
Canada isn't a bad place, but I hate Edmonton. It's all about where in Canada you are. If we'd of been able to stay in Halifax (which had NO jobs really so we had to move) I might be a permanent resident in Canada but that didn't work how we wanted it.
So, soon Andrew will have a green card in hand and we will be driving across the continent again. (We've done the Houston-Halifax route 3 times because we had to go back for the rest of our furniture, and we've crossed Canada to get to Edmonton. So Edmonton-Houston will be our 5th continental move.) My dog loves these week-long car rides. The cat is not a fan, really.
You know what this means?
- UNIVERSITY!
- I can work!
- Andrew can work, too! DUAL INCOMES FOR ONCE!
- Moist climate = my skin will be much more comfortable, Alberta is DRYYYYYY!
- Hot/Warm climate year round, I can plein-air paint any day! XD
Me: Ha, that's not cold, that's just refrigerated.

Thanks Dan,
I'm eager to get back, I miss painting outside. It's been cold and a large part of why I haven't been painting lately. :( I don't want to just paint from photos all the time.
