May I just say, I am SO FREAKIN PROUD OF THIS PAINTING!! XD
I think its a personal best so far!! :)
I found a great stock photo on Deviant Art and upped the contrast, downed the brightness, and messed with the color balance in Photoshop to actually bring the color out because it had a grayish "fog" over the photo from light. Then I used that as a reference.

Following in the tradition of the mountain painting (but hopefully not losing it to a fall on the carpet...) Here is a series of WIP images to review, so if you have any suggestions for me feel free to speak up! :) Canvas is 5x7 inches.

This is fluke from WC, by the way... :)
Cool peice Allison, I love going on there and checking out all the cool stuff people will put on.
FLUKE! Hey!! Are you going to make a blog? hmm? :)
Dan, I've been on DeviantArt since I was in highschool, its changed a ton but is still my favorite place for stock photos. I don't always put all my art on it though, its kind of hard to get noticed at all unless you draw manga at a professional level. (Shows how many kids are on it!)
Yes, I have now blogged! Yay for me! LOL
fantastic every now and again a painting just jumps up and makes a big impact this is one LOVE IT.
This one is great Allison! It looks like you've had a "creative growth spurt" of sorts! :)
