I was about to clean up from my first painting today when I decided, why waste all these flesh tones? So I grabbed the three 4x4 inch square canvases, set them on cardboard, and googled Nose, choosing some zoomed in shots to paint.
I didn't sketch these out first, just started putting paint on.
I like them, I think I was overly ambitious in the first painting today, maybe I should spend some time painting each portion of the human body at a time before I try to put the whole thing together? Or at least facial parts.

All three are cool , but i like the one with glasses the most 8)
I like the composition of the nose w/ the glasses. I like the profile the best. I also often have mixed paint on my palette when done w/ a small piece (I pre-mix piles) so regulary paint one more.
Thanks Dan, Pam! :) Yeah I had so much paint left I didn't like the idea of tossing it. Glad I didn't!
I like this idea of painting small "pieces" of peoples faces on small pallets. I will try it with my left over paint! You are doing really good, found you here on blogger and just had to comment! Keep it up!
